Our task was to organize a solemn opening ceremony of the Unilever Ukraine Tea Factory in Gostomel, a factory which handles the production of the world-famous brands Lipton, Brooke Bond, and Besida. The volume of investments in the factory at that time amounted to 8.3 million euros, and production capacity reached 1,600 tons of tea.
The creation of its own factory has become a landmark in the company's activities in Ukraine and an important investment in the country's economy. To underscore the significance of this event for the city and for Ukraine as a whole, it was necessary to ensure the presence of important government officials at the event, to help with the organization of meetings between these officials and Unilever CEO Paul Polman, and to organize media coverage of the ceremony.
The GROU team organized the visit of journalists to the opening ceremony of the tea factory, as well as media coverage of the event. In addition, the team arranged for Polman to meet with top officials of the state, who also attended the event.
The opening ceremony of the Unilever Ukraine Tea Factory was attended by First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Shimkiv and representatives of the diplomatic corps. The event received wide coverage in the national media. In addition, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Prime Minister, and the mayor of Kiev each held personal meetings with Polman leading up to the event.
