Task

In 2022, the country was going to celebrate the Day of Ukrainian Statehood for the first time. There was a need to create a recognisable visual symbol for this occasion.  And this is at a time when the issues of statehood and national identification have become more vital and existential than ever.

Details

The identity is based on the trident as the primary symbol of statehood and the state and developed it in four semantic and graphic variants: our independence, our identity and freedom, our history, our strength and glory. 

Each of the graphic trident symbols was used separately as an independent logo, and all four formed the general logo of the holiday – as our multifaceted national identity.

We developed not only the logo, but also a complete brand book for public use.
